- Be sure to save your application in case you need it later.
- If possible, have your transcript(s) on hand so you can refer to your dates of attendance, degree(s), and credits earned.
- If you don’t have this information right now, you can still apply, but remember to submit official transcripts as soon as possible.
- Submit your application and pay the nonrefundable application fee.
- Undergraduate/graduate program application fee: $50
- Doctoral program application fee: $100

Our admissions advisors can review unofficial transcripts to give you a tentative transfer credit evaluation. However, for admissions purposes, you are required to submit official transcripts from every institution previously attended, including high school and college(s). After we evaluate your official transcripts, you'll have a roadmap of the classes you need to complete your degree.
Graduate Applicants
Please submit official transcripts demonstrating completion of a bachelor's degree by the last day of the first term of enrollment at UMGC. Some exceptions apply. After we evaluate your official transcripts, you’ll have a roadmap of the classes you need to complete your degree.

Anyone can apply, regardless of income. By turning in your FAFSA, you’ll also automatically be considered for more than 100 UMGC scholarships.
