Meet Our Online IT and Computer Science Students and Alumni
Our information technology and computer science students are gaining the skills they need to succeed, thanks to their UMGC education.

Businesses want to know how can you help them achieve their objectives more effectively. These [experiences I've gained at UMGC] are a clear demonstration to employers that you are able to use the skills you've acquired.
Alfred Jones
Computer Networks and Cybersecurity Bachelor's Degree

When I first started attending UMGC, I knew nothing about computer programming. It was a very intimidating subject, and I wasn’t confident about learning the subject. UMGC made the process easy, with knowledgeable teachers and relevant assignments. I am now confident in my ability to program and sometimes use the programming at work also.
