Apply for admission to UMGC: Complete the online application for admission. It typically takes about 10 minutes. Select "Amazon Career Choice" as your employer on the application form.

Complete your payment request: Within Career Choice, select the "College" track and "University of Maryland Global Campus" as your school. Complete your payment request each term. Please include your student ID number.

Speak to an advisor: Speak with a UMGC admissions advisor by calling 855-227-0928 and select the program that best matches your career goals.

Contact a success coach: Speak with your success coach to enroll in approved courses from your degree plan.

Complete your payment request each term within Career Choice. After you complete and submit the request, it will be sent to UMGC to confirm your course details and either be approved or denied. If approved, UMGC will bill Amazon directly. Please include your Student ID number when filling out the request.

Amazon pays for your tuition, fees, and books within the annual maximum limits. You will be responsible for paying any costs above the annual maximum. UMGC will waive the application fee and technology fees. These are the most common fees. View the full list of fees for more information. Most courses use open educational resources, so there will not be any additional cost for course materials, though certain courses do use materials that students must purchase. Please see the Schedule of Classes for more information.
You can select any undergraduate certificate, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree. Please work with your UMGC Amazon admissions advisor to select the right program for you.
Yes, you may switch to any undergraduate certificate, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree. Some credits may not transfer to your new program. Please speak with your UMGC Amazon admissions advisor about changing your program.
