Author Biography

Lisa Crowe Mercer began her career in higher education as a student worker while earning her associate degree at Anne Arundel Community College. After earning her bachelor's degree in English at University of Maryland College Park, Crowe Mercer continued to work in education as an advisor and admissions counselor. She earned her master’s degree at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where she has worked for more than 24 years in various capacities, with the goal of providing students with transfer information. Because of her experience as a transfer student, she wanted to help others further their education goals through a great transfer experience that maximized credit.
