Christina Lunsmann, PhD, has worked in K-12 and higher education for 13 years, and in that time has developed a strong commitment to advocating for students. She received her PhD in teacher education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where her research focused on constructivist teaching practices. Lunsmann developed a passion for accessibility services through her work as an assistant professor at Young Harris College and program coordinator in teacher education at University of South Carolina Sumter, where she coordinated services for students with diverse educational needs. Outside of higher education, Lunsmann is a grant writer for a non-profit organization, The Bike Box Project, that works to raise funds for research and to support individuals with Parkinson’s Disease.
