How to Get Started & Important Information
Follow the five steps below to register for the online SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preparation course and take the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam.
- Determine your eligibility.
- Enroll in UMGC's SHRM Certification Preparation Course.
- Apply for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam.
- Prepare for the certification exam with expert guidance from UMGC.
- Take the exam and leverage your certification.
The full payment of $1,395 is due upon registration. You are NOT officially registered for the course until full payment has been received.

If you earned the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification on Jan. 1, 2017 or later, you may be able to earn up to 9 undergraduate credits or up to 6 graduate credits for courses that are required as part of UMGC’s curriculum for human resource management programs.
