If you're a World Commerce & Contracting member, employee, or the spouse or legal dependent of a member or employee, you can take advantage of several education benefits thanks to an alliance with University of Maryland Global Campus, a leader in online education for working adults. Save up to 25 percent on out-of-state tuition for most UMGC programs and get your $50 application fee waived when you apply as a new student.

Plus, you may be able to transfer up to 12 credits toward UMGC’s online master’s degree in acquisition & contract management.

Tuition Discount Details

This discount will be applied to out-of-state tuition for eligible students in most programs.* This discount cannot be combined with certain scholarships or discount programs, including the Maryland Completion Scholarship, the Military New Graduate Student Savings Program, the Alumni Succeed Again Scholarship, and the discount for out-of-state community college alliances. Discounted tuition rates may not fall below the standard in-state rate or any special tuition rate offered to eligible active-duty military servicemembers, their spouses, or dependents.

Transfer Credits to a Master's Degree

UMGC will award transfer credits to students who successfully complete the eligible Commercial & Contract Management (CCM) certification programs offered by World Commerce & Contracting. Your certification will allow UMGC to verify your transfer credits.

    • Begin Date: August 1, 2018
    • End Date: October 13, 2026
    • UMGC Equivalent: (6 Credits, ACM 610)
  • World Commerce & Contracting Course: Commercial & Contract Management Certification Program – Advanced Practitioner Level
    • Begin Date: August 1, 2018
    • End Date: October 13, 2026
    • UMGC Equivalent: (6 Credits, ACM 620)

Get Started & Register

It’s easy to get started. Whether you're focused on advancing your career or continuing your education, UMGC offers the ideal program to help you reach your goal.

Apply for admission to UMGC: Complete the online application for admission. It typically takes about 10 minutes. Be sure to select your employer or organization on the application form.

Complete a tuition benefits verification form: Complete an employment/membership verification form for each term that you plan to enroll in courses. Be sure to fill out the proper form. UMGC has a separate verification form for employees/members and spouses/dependents.

Earn credit for your education and eligible experience: Submit your official transcripts from any previous institutions of higher education.

Register for classes: Once you're admitted to UMGC, you will receive a student ID (EmplID) so you can register for courses online. Check the schedule of classes to view courses, and then register for classes online using the MyUMGC Student Portal.

Note About World Commerce & Contracting Transcripts

Your transcripts from World Commerce & Contracting allow you to verify your eligibility for a tuition discount and earn transfer credit. You may continue to submit your World Commerce & Contracting transcripts as you complete certifications for UMGC to evaluate transfer credit. Please contact World Commerce & Contracting for any questions on how to request their transcripts by emailing info@worldcc.com.
