The UMGC 2024 Virtual InternPLUS Fair is a month away, and it’s time to prepare all of the materials that you will need for the event!
Career Advising Specialists will be hosting a prep session discussing expectations, navigating the event platform, creating an effective elevator pitch, strategically looking at the employer matrix, and using professional etiquette while engaging with employers. Plus, there will be drop-in career advising for any last-minute questions.
Prep for the Virtual Recruiter Session

Career Advising Specialists will assist you in developing and practicing a professional virtual welcome to introduce yourself to recruiters as well as provide insights on participating employers. The team will also be available to answer any of your Virtual InternPLUS Fair questions.

Already have your professional introduction created but looking for feedback? Do you have last-minute questions you’re looking for advice on before the fair? Join us anytime during the Virtual Drop-In Advising Session to receive assistance from the Career Advising Specialist team. Career Advisors will be there between 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. ET to review introductions on a first-come first-serve basis and to address any questions you may have.
