University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) invites you to attend a no-cost networking event highlighting national, regional, and local support services available to military servicemembers, veterans and their families.
Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs), nonprofits, and a few select employers will be available to meet with you and answer your questions. Bring your résumé!

Hear from Guest Speaker Lt. Col. Xavier Bruce, DBA (U.S. Air Force, Ret.)
Dr. Xavier Bruce (Dr. X) is a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel with 24 years of service, including multiple deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He is a Certified Professional Coach, Certified Wellness Coach, and Certified Resilience-Building Leadership Professional Trainer. Dr. X created a self-leadership development program to help veterans overcoming the stress and anxiety associated with life transitions. His passion is helping veterans inspire, “impower,” and uplift themselves so that they become equipped to build resilience in their families, organizations, and communities. Dr. X has a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a Master of Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University, and a Doctorate of Business Administration from Walden University.

Your online first impression is an important part of your personal branding, career transition, and job search. If you don't have an updated headshot or don't recognize "you" in your headshot, now is a great time for a new photo.
On-site sign-up is required and is first come, first served, 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM.

By attending the one-day fair, attendees will be introduced to resources that will assist them in their education, their lives, and their transition from the military.
