University of Maryland Global Campus will be celebrating graduates at commencement ceremonies around the world this spring. Leading off the activities to honor the class of 2023 will be the university’s Asia Division when it holds ceremonies in Tokyo on April 8, on Okinawa on April 15, in Seoul, Korea on April 22 and on Guam on May 6. UMGC’s Europe Division will host its commencement ceremony at Ramstein Air Base, near its headquarters in Kaiserslautern, Germany, on April 29. Finally, the UMGC stateside “Grad Walk” event will be held over four days, from May 11-14, in Adelphi, Md.
An estimated 9,000 graduates worldwide will earn degrees from UMGC this spring. Details about each of the six commencements are below.

Grad Walk is an in-person and online experience designed to place the spotlight directly on graduates and their achievements. Graduates select from multiple time slots over the four days to cross the stage and receive individual recognition.
