In this section, you will find all the information you need to make an informed decision about your employee benefits options. Medical, prescription, dental, AD&D, and life insurance enrollments are completed online directly through the State of Maryland’s State Personnel System (SPS). You will receive links and job aids within two weeks of your hire date. Your hire date is the official date you are hired, not the first day you are staffed to teach.
