You may know that University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) serves more than 90,000 students across the United States and around the world, but did you know UMGC is the largest provider of postsecondary education in Maryland?
UMGC is a Maryland state university that was founded to serve the higher education needs of working adults and military servicemembers by breaking down barriers to education and helping meet workforce needs. We continue that work today—both across the globe and at home, right here in Maryland.
Here are 10 important ways UMGC continues to serve the state of Maryland, its residents, and its businesses.
