University of Maryland Global Campus has teamed up with the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence at Fort Eisenhower as its bachelor's-level Army University Continuing Education Degree Program partner. As an Army University Continuing Education Degree Program partner, UMGC can help develop a degree map for you through the Army's Cyber School or Signal School.

Through a program outlined on a degree map, you can

  • Enhance your competencies
  • Earn credit for prior learning in appropriate courses
  • Learn where credit is awarded for training from your military institution
  • Stay on track for degree completion

Cyber School

Students who attend the Cyber Center of Excellence's Cyber School are eligible to transfer up to 51 credits from their Military Occupational Specialty and military experience to UMGC's bachelor’s degree in computer networks and cybersecurity.

The following table details how you can transfer up to 51 credits.

Signal School

Students who attend the Cyber Center of Excellence's Signal School are eligible to transfer credits from their Military Occupational Specialty and military experience to UMGC's bachelor's degrees in computer networks and cybersecurity, cybersecurity management and policy, digital media and web technology, graphic communication, or management studies. The amount of eligible transfer credit depends on each servicemember's MOS, rank, military experience, and chosen degree program.

The following tables show how Signal School courses and military experience map to UMGC's bachelor's degree programs.
