A consortium agreement is an agreement between two colleges/universities to recognize your registration at each location for financial aid purposes. It also certifies only one of the two institutions can administer your Title IV and state financial aid.
You need to complete a consortium agreement to confirm you have met the requirements to receive Title IV and state financial aid to help pay for your host school courses.
After the Financial Aid Office receives all of your required documents (Permission to Enroll form, Consortium Agreement form, and host class schedule), it takes approximately two weeks for processing.
