Eligible students were able to save 30 percent per credit toward a graduate program.

Active-duty military students, reserves, and their spouses and dependents were eligible for the Military New Graduate Student Savings Program at University of Maryland Global Campus. Eligible students had the opportunity to save 30 percent—or $144—per credit on most master’s degrees and graduate certificates* when they enrolled as a new graduate student at UMGC and qualified for the military tuition rate.

In order to receive these savings, students must have enrolled for their first term of credit-bearing graduate coursework between April 12, 2023 and April 9, 2024 for the Summer 2023, Fall 2023, Winter 2024, or Spring 2024 terms.

  • Meet UMGC’s graduate military rate eligibility criteria

  • Enroll for your first term of credit-bearing graduate coursework between April 12, 2023 and April 9, 2024 for the Summer 2023, Fall 2023, Winter 2024, or Spring 2024 terms
