Biography

Natasha Young is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and Communication at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). As a dedicated Program Support Specialist for the Department of Human Services in Washington, DC, Natasha combines her academic pursuits with practical experience in public service. Her career aspirations include becoming an HR Manager for a DC Government department, where she aims to leverage her skills to foster a positive work environment and implement effective HR strategies.

Beyond her professional and academic ambitions, Natasha is an entrepreneurial force, successfully managing two businesses focused on health and wellness, as well as credit repair and financial solutions. Driven by a passion for health, beauty, finances, and business management, she is committed to making a positive impact on the world. Natasha’s ultimate goal is to help 1,000 families achieve financial freedom and improved health.

A proud native of Washington, DC, Natasha is also a dedicated single mother. She has made significant contributions to her community through her role as the founder of Pure Passion LLC. This organization is dedicated to helping families by offering nutrition and fitness programs, equipping them with self-mastery skills and practical tools for a healthier and more fulfilling life.

Natasha is thrilled to be selected for the Student Advisory Council at UMGC, viewing it as an exciting opportunity to further support her peers and help others reach their full potential.
